Business Standards
BSI produce a regular, widely circulated newsletter, Business Standards. They use Xalter to publish this electronically using Xalter's Business Standards extension, they can easily edit and maintain a complex layout, and gather user input and traffic statistics.

Gatwick Diamond
As a dynamic initiative linking public and private partners, Gatwick Diamond needed a user friendly system to manage content. Xalter's finder and sorter extensions helped setup a site which was easy to navigate and control.

International Color Consortium
The International Color Consortium host color.org on Xalter, using our shared hosting option. Elysium migrated their site and created a new Xalter template so that they could easily add and update new content. The site uses Xalter's standard 'finder' and 'newsdesk' extensions, as well as a custom written extension to manage their Signature Registry.

IST/37
The UK's counterpart to the well known MPEG and JPEG committees is BSI's IST/37 standards committee. IST/37 use shared Xalter hosting. The JPEG site was one of the key inputs to Xalter and as a result, Elysium were asked to migrate one of the standard community's largest websites to Xalter too, for MPEG. With a front end cache this site handles in excess of 100 gigabytes of downloading a meeeting week.

Motorhome Information Service
The SMMT Motorhome section selected Xalter to introduce their members services to a wide user community. They use Xalter's finder and sorter extensions, coupled with a postcode distance calculator to link users to their nearest member.

Standards Gateway
The standards institutions in the UK and China linked their capabilities to provide a bilingual site offering comprehensive regulatory information. Xalter's abilities to offer proper language support was a key factor in their choice, as well as Elysium's design skills and ability to produce a quality service, rapidly.

T H March currently run two separate Xalter systems. The public web presence and their internally hosted intranet, supported by Elysium over a secure link. T H March use several custom Xalter extensions, for example to create and edit staff profiles.

Wealden Psychology Institute
Even smaller organisations can see the benefit of using Xalter and Elysium's design services. Ease of use in keeping their active events and news diaries up to date sold the solution, and expansion to a new French centre was no problem too for Xalter.
